Feedback Sessions are your opportunity to get direct input from Bruce and Lee on your lesson paintings. Feedback is provided in the form of a short video, in which our instructors use digital editing to "paint" back into an image of your painting, using multiple layers to depict each suggested improvement. The videos are originally presented in a "live meeting" format, to provide an opportunity for you to dialogue with them about their suggestions. The videos are then loaded onto the website, so that all members may benefit from the review...it also allows you to watch them over and over again, while you work to improve your painting. Many of our members recognize the extraordinary benefits of these feedback sessions, and make a point to attend/view as many sessions as possible, whether or not they have a painting being reviewed. Feedback Sessions are typically scheduled for every-other Tuesday, and you may submit one painting per month for review.
HELP! sessions, on the other hand, are for help with paintings of your own personal subject matter (i.e. not from a BoA class). These are live reviews rather than prerecorded videos, and have more of an "open forum" feel. HELP! Sessions are also where you can bring any questions about the art business world; how to price your paintings, how to create an inventory system, how to approach exhibitions and galleries, etc. HELP! Sessions are typically held the first Saturday of each month.
Full length recordings of each Feedback and HELP! Session are available on the website for anyone unable to attend in person.
